Shared facilities – indefinite
With shared facilities, someone rents a room and shares, for example, the kitchen and bathroom with others (also called non-self-contained accommodation). With this type you rent for an indefinite period.
What this means
- Strong rent protection: The tenant has regular rent protection from the start; you can only give notice on legal grounds.
- No end date: The contract runs until notice is given in line with the rules.
- Rent set via the points system: For non-self-contained accommodation, the maximum rent is determined by the housing valuation system (WWS).
