No room, no pay model explained
When you successfully match with a host, a one-time fee applies for our rental support services. Here's what it covers and why it's there.
How much is it?
The fee is €295, a one-time payment when you match with a host. It's not a monthly fee, and there are no hidden costs.
No room = no pay
This is our core principle. You only pay this fee once you actually match with a host and a contract is signed. Don't find a room through Hospi Housing? Then you pay nothing.
What's included?
This one-time payment makes much more possible than just a match. Thanks to your contribution we can:
- Offer a safe platform: Every host and landlord is personally verified, so you know your room and your host are real and trustworthy
- Give personal support: We're there for you before, during and after the rental period, with advice, answers to your questions, and help where needed
- Safekeep your deposit: You pay your deposit via Hospi Housing, so it's held safely with us throughout the rental and returned properly
- Help with your contract: We arrange a correct, legally compliant hospita contract
- Mediate in conflicts: If something goes wrong between you and your host, we help mediate towards a good solution
Compared to other options
Traditional rental agents often charge a full month's rent in commission, easily €500-€1000 or more. Hospi Housing's one-time fee of €295 is much lower, and it includes ongoing support rather than just a one-time introduction.
When do you pay?
The fee is invoiced after you and your host confirm the match, and before you sign the contract. You receive a clear invoice with payment instructions.
