Other municipalities in Noord-Brabant

Outside Eindhoven, Tilburg and Breda the larger cities have their own rules, while renting out one room as a resident hospita is almost everywhere permit-free.

Differences per municipality

Cities such as 's-Hertogenbosch, Helmond and Oss have a housing ordinance with a conversion permit, usually from three people, often with distance rules and quotas. Smaller municipalities regulate room rental via the environment plan. Hospita rental (you live there yourself, shared facilities) is generally exempt.
