What info to share?
With hospita rental you live in someone's home, so it's important that your profile gives an honest and complete picture of who you are and what you're looking for. But what do you share now, and what do you save for later?
What to share in your profile
- About yourself: Your age, profession or occupation, hobbies and interests. Show who you are.
- About your household: Do you live alone? Have pets? Children? This helps tenants gauge whether it's a good fit.
- Your expectations: What kind of housemate are you looking for? Someone who's home a lot, or not? Someone who eats with you or prefers to cook separately?
- House rules: Quiet hours, guest policies, cleaning: be clear about these.
- The room and home: All the practical info: size, furniture, amenities, shared spaces.
What to share later
- Your exact address: You only share this after a match or when scheduling a viewing.
- Phone number or email: Use the platform's secure chat first.
- Financial details: Bank account numbers and other financial information don't belong in your profile.
Tip
The more honest and complete your profile, the better the matches. Tenants who know exactly what to expect are also the tenants who stay the longest.
