Other municipalities in Gelderland

Gelderland municipalities set their own room-rental policy. Renting out one room while living there yourself is almost everywhere permit-free.

Differences per municipality

Larger and student cities such as Ede, Apeldoorn and Doetinchem usually require a conversion or environmental permit from three rooms or people sharing the facilities. Smaller municipalities often have lighter or no rules. Quotas, WOZ thresholds and any rental permit vary strongly (Arnhem is the clearest example of an adopted rental permit).
