Hospi Housing for landlords
Own a property you don't live in yourself, and want to rent out one or more rooms? You're in the right place. We help landlords find reliable tenants, with contract support and guidance along the way.
The difference: landlord vs. host
At Hospi Housing we distinguish between hosts and landlords:
- Host: Lives in the property and shares the house with the tenant (hospita rental)
- Landlord: Owns the property but doesn't live there. Different contract type and rules.
As a landlord, you fall under regular rental law, which means your tenant has more protection than with hospita rental. We'll help you handle it all correctly.

What does Hospi Housing offer landlords?
- Tenant sourcing: With over 30,000 active room seekers, we quickly find suitable candidates for your property.
- Screening: Every candidate has a profile on our platform, so you can review their background, motivation, and expectations before making contact.
- Contract support: We help you draw up a rental contract that meets all legal requirements.
- Guidance: Even after the match, we're here for questions and mediation.
Costs
The tenant makes a one-time payment of €295 for rental support services upon a successful match. Renting out multiple properties? Contact us to hear about your options.
