Other municipalities in Flevoland

In Flevoland (with cities such as Almere and Lelystad) there are generally fewer restrictions on room rental than in the older student cities. Renting out one room as a resident hospita is permit-free here.

Differences per municipality

Almere requires no permit for renting out up to two rooms; an environmental permit is only needed from about four rooms or when splitting into small self-contained units. Lelystad applies room-rental rules lightly.
