Other municipalities in Overijssel

In Overijssel it is mainly the larger cities that regulate room rental. Renting out one room while living there yourself is almost everywhere permit-free.

Differences per municipality

Zwolle regulates room rental with a permit in neighbourhoods such as Dieze, Wipstrik and Assendorp; the permit requirement usually applies only from three non-self-contained rooms, and the hospita situation is exempt. Outside Enschede and Zwolle (and partly Deventer and Hengelo) the rules are light.
