In the heart of Voorhout, a beautiful, fully renovated room will soon be available in a modern and comfortable house. The location is ideal. It is only a short walk, about 280 meters from Voorhout station, and the train takes you to Leiden in just a few minutes. Amsterdam and The Hague are also easy to reach by train. If you prefer the beach, Noordwijk aan Zee is accessible by bike or by bus. The supermarket and a gym is literally around the corner. The house has recently been completely renovated and has underfloor heating on both the ground floor and the first floor. The temperature can be set per room, and in your own room you can adjust it yourself up to a maximum of 20 degrees. Gas, water, electricity, Wi‐Fi, and TV are included. Thanks to the fast fiber‐optic connection, the Wi‐Fi is excellent throughout the house. The room is bright and neatly finished, with triple‐glazed windows, blackout window coverings, and a brand‐new IKEA Pax wardrobe. The bathroom is officially shared, although at the moment you would be the only one using it. It will only become a shared bathroom if a second renter moves in at some point. The shared kitchen is fully equipped with a large fridge, large freezer, wine climate cabinet, Quooker, dishwasher, combi steam oven, combi oven, warming drawer, and an induction cooktop with integrated extraction. The sunny garden gets sun all day in summer and has a comfortable lounge sofa. You can store one bicycle in the shed. The TV room, kitchen, dining room, toilets, bathroom on the first floor, garden, and a separate laundry room are all shared spaces. You may use the washing machine and dryer on the attic landing between 09:00 and 17:00. The attic itself is not shared. A robot vacuum cleaner on the ground floor helps keep the house tidy. I am looking for a housemate who is tidy and organized, but also social and friendly. Someone who enjoys doing their own thing, yet also likes sometimes to eat together or simply catching up. A small side note. Visitors are welcome, as long as we check in with each other beforehand. Overnight guests are not allowed. * An earlier rental date is also an option, although the maximum period is one year.
