In an 80m2 apartment that you share with me and my daughter (8 years old), you have your own room with a south-facing balcony. On paper, you are only renting the room, but in reality, you can use everything in the house as if it were your own. I prefer us being housemates rather than you being a room renter. I certainly appreciate a bit of company. A big plus if you aren't coming alone: children and cats are more than welcome! We can also potentially make arrangements for your child to have their own space/room. I don't have a cat flap, though, but I'm sure we'll find a solution for that. The room is approximately 14m2. The room is semi-furnished, not fully furnished. I do have some furniture that you can use, but you are also free to decorate it however you like. I have: 2 mattresses (80x200), a sofa bed, a chair, blinds for the window (they are standard), and a lamp. I do not have a bed or wardrobe. This can be arranged in consultation. I am actually away quite a lot, certainly during office hours, and often in the evenings and on weekends too. I am only home when my daughter (50%) is at home.
