Room of 13 m² in Groningen, furnished, available from 1 November 2026, €425/month, with a live-in host.
The room is in appartment building 'De Brander' and is located right next to the FC Groningen stadium. There's a large Jumbo supermarket and a gym within 5 minutes walking. Bus line 3 to Zernike stops just in front of the Jumbo otherwise it's 20-30 minutes cycling to Zernike. Station Groningen Europapark is within 10 minutes walking. You share a big living room with open kitchen, toilet, bathroom with sauna and a balcony. There's no central heating but floor warming, but in my opinion the house is warm enough without floor warming because the windows are on the south, so there's sun all day.
Hey, My name is Johnny and I'm 38 years old. I work fulltime in finance/IT, partly at the office and partly at home. After work I usually go to the gym. Furthermore I love to cook, spend time with friends, binge series and watch some football or F1. I've got a free room in my appartment where you could fit in if we have some common ground. At the moment my Star Wars collection (yes, I'm a bit geeky haha) takes up most of the room, but I'll move it elsewhere obviously. I'm fluent in English and I speak a bit of German, French, Spanish and Korean, mostly learned during middle school or through DuoLingo. Visited South Korea recently and I'm a fan! We could live together when we can work out house rules and a pleasant routine with some synergy. Would love to share a meal and good conversations at least once a week while watching some series, football or playing a board game for example. I'm hosting a Champions League night with friends beer and smoking indoors on a monthly basis. You're welcome to join, but it mustn't bother you. I'm more an evening person than a morning person, so please don't go to bed at 9 PM and wake up at 5 AM. Dates are flexible. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
