Many international graduates choose to apply for the orientation year permit (zoekjaar) after completing their studies in the Netherlands.
What is it?
This residence permit allows you to stay in the Netherlands for up to one year after graduation to look for a job or start a business. During this time, you can work for any employer without a work permit.
